Don Bosco Anbu Illam

Don Bosco Anbu Illam - a Rehabilitation Centre for Street & Working Children. Don Bosco Anbu Illam is a home of love where mutual love and respect, dignified life among the children are promoted.

Don Bosco Anbu Illam - was established in the year 1991 and being a Non - Profitable Organization after eight years of tireless service to the vulnerable children on 20th December 1999 it was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 27 of 1975 as ‘Coimbatore Don Bosco Anbu Illam Social Service Society’. The most important aim of this organization is to rehabilitate the street, working and destitute children in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. The society is register under Foreign Contribution and Regulation Act – 2010 and it’s also registered to undertake the CSR activities. Our Target Children are Orphans, Semi- Orphans, Missing, Trafficked, Abandoned, Neglected Working, Begging, Working , Abused, Unaccompanied , Migrant, Married and Street Children.

Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Coimbatore envisages as child friendly and sustained Society, “ where children are freem from all forms of abuse and exploitation enjoying child hood and their rights, with respect & social justice and without any discrimination.

Our Mission

To create, Coimbatore as a model district ensuring child rights for children in difficult conditions by sensitizing and empowering children, youth, parents, caring community groups and making civil society, government and allied systems & corporates accountable towards the development of children through promoting alternate care, networking, advocacy & lobbying and right based approach.
